Engineering UTC

UTC, a well-established higher education institution in North Lincolnshire, sought to renovate their Sixth Form space to provide an environment that supports learning, collaboration and personal development.

The existing space was outdated and lacked the vibrant, functional design necessary to meet the needs of students.

Due to their proven reputation for delivering transformative designs in the education sector, UTC approached Nolan Interiors to develop a solution that focused on improving functionality, aesthetics and ultimately, the student experience.

Within the design, several products from Elite’s portfolio were selected, encompassing the institute’s identity within the finishes and upholstery. Evo Plus provided a modular solution to create an in-classroom breakout space, specified with the optional Cubeform base support to complement the surrounding coffee tables.

During visits hosted at Elite’s showroom, Nolan Interiors were able to showcase to the college two newly launched furniture ranges, Alto Canopy benches and Matrix Plus desking. Both products were specified with Oak tops and Steel metalwork finishes to visually harmonise with the overall design concept.

Other products featured: Pill modular seating, Ritz counter height stools, Retreat booths, Cascara lounge seating, Salto classroom seating and Vida task chairs.
