Following the successful appointment of Elite as the University of Birmingham’s sole supplier, we were approached to assist with the design, specification, supply, installation and completion of the University’s purpose-built campus based in Dubai.
The University already has a presence in Dubai and were keen to expand on this to cement their presence in the country by becoming a leader in the delivery of Higher Education learning.
The ambitious project aimed to deliver a brand-new, purpose-built facility to initially accommodate around 2,000 students with the ability to expand this through future development for up to 4,000 students. After meeting with the University’s project team to understand the architectural goals and determine the use and function of each of the facilities, they looked to Elite for solutions that would enable them to successfully deliver specialist degree level teaching in a collaborative and flexible space.
