Space Planning Design Consultant

Elite Office Furniture is seeking a talented and creative Space Planning Design Consultant to join our growing team. The role can be based at either our Head Office in Goole, East Yorkshire, or our London showroom in Clerkenwell, depending on the successful candidate’s preference.

The Role

As a Space Planning Design Consultant, you will play a key role in transforming client requirements and design briefs into exceptional workplace solutions. Working closely with our space planning team and reporting directly to the Design & Marketing Manager at our Yorkshire Head Office, you will be responsible for producing accurate, high-quality space plans and visualisations that meet client expectations and project deadlines.

The successful candidate will be highly organised, creative, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining excellent attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce and maintain high-quality 2D and 3D CAD space plans, walkthroughs, and visual presentations using Autodesk AutoCAD, Autodesk, Revit Professional and PCON Planner Professional.

  • Create and develop furniture CAD block assets when required.

  • Occasionally carry out site surveys and measurements for selected projects.

  • Work closely with customers to understand their requirements and provide design support through meetings, Microsoft Teams, telephone calls, and occasional site visits.

  • Ensure all drawings and visualisations are completed accurately, professionally, and within agreed deadlines.

  • If based in our London showroom, support showroom activities, including occasional hospitality and client-facing duties.

Skills & Experience Required

The successful applicant will have:

  • Strong experience using AutoCAD, including XREFs, Blocks, Scaling

  • Drawing standards and organisation

  • A good working knowledge of Autodesk Revit Professional.

  • Experience producing professional-quality 2D and 3D design drawings and visualisations.

  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Teams.

  • Excellent communication skills with the confidence to liaise directly with customers and colleagues.

  • Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise multiple projects effectively.

  • Experience with PCON Planner Professional would be advantageous; however, full training can be provided for the right candidate.
