Elite Annual Golf Day 2011
Elite Office Furniture UK Ltd hosted their annual dealership golf day at Oulton Hall, Leeds, on Friday 29th July, bringing together over 35 key UK account holders and Elite staff. The days event started at 8.30am with bacon and sausage sandwiches, Keith Hanvey welcomed everyone before sending them out onto the golf course for a challenging 9 hole Texas Scramble with a Shotgun Start.
After a short break for lunch the afternoons tournament began at 2pm sending all out onto the Calverley Course for a gruesome 18 hole Stableford, after several holes and a few alcoholic beverages everyone was in full swing.
Evening approached, after drinks in the champagne bar guests were welcomed into the restaurant for a lovely 3 course meal followed by the prize giving ceremony after which they were treated to laughs from the comedian Willie Miller and the guest speaker Liverpool legend Ronnie Whelan, Leeds United's very own Frank Worthington also added to the days entertainment.
