This flagship new building will bring together the University's award-winning student and administrative services, resulting in a more integrated service for students and staff, and providing some of the best student facilities to be found anywhere in the UK.
Elite Office Furniture UK Ltd have installed product to the value of £800,000 consisting of office desking, storage and soft seating. Elite are an approved supplier through the NEUPC (North Eastern Universities Purchasing Consortium) providing solutions for desking, storage and seating to 23 universities within the NEUPC member group.
Elite supplied a complete project management service for the supply of Office Furniture for this prestigious project.
The company liased from concept with the main contractors, including interior fit out and provided product and design support in order to provide the best solution for the clients requirements. Desks were from the Optima range and were adapted to meet the clients specific requirements for height adjustability. Special screens were designed and manufactured to ensure a consistent level when desks were set at differing heights. Desks were wire managed and had complementary narrow mobile under desk pedestals, matching conference tables were supplied for meeting rooms.
